Solenoid

The solenoid is used to convert electrical energy into kinetic energy in the form of linear motion.

You can connect up the solenoid to the following mechanical parts:

To connect up the solenoid:

  1. Drag the solenoid to place the plunger's connection pad on the pad of the target part.
  2. Wire up the solenoid's electrical terminals to an electrical circuit including a power supply. The plunger of the solenoid is fully retracted once there is a voltage of at least 2.8 V across it.
